Cuenca Countryside by EveLivesey Cuenca Countryside by EveLivesey
Taken through a train window - so cropped to remove motion blur in the foreground - as this is a 'relatively' small photo I am offering it as free and unrestricted stock - please see my Deviant ID for details of my stock rules.

I dedicate this to Jon :iconfollowintheblackbird: - hope you are feeling a bit better and that your birthday is as comfortable as it can be  :cake: :iconhappybirthdayplz:

Thank you so much. I am feeling much better. I hope I never have to go through that ever again.

I'm still dealing with residual pain but I can handle that for the most part.

I'm told it will last up to four months depending on the damage done to my nervous system by the virus and worse yet I find I can get it again.

I have a friend on here who has it and can't take pain meds :( How are you feeling now?

I was lucky in that I could and was taking pain medication but had been for some time. When I started noticing that I was beginning to show signs of addiction I talked to my Doctor and  discontinued the pills and switched to topical creams some of which helped and others that didn't. I'm now to the point that the pain is such that I can handle.

Yep the cure for pain can be worse than the pain - my husband is on large doses of morphine but at age 81 addiction is not exactly a problem. I never take anything for my daily chronic pain because it would just lead to different problems. They haven't come very far when it comes to pain control have they? I'm glad that you are handling it ok now

What a beautiful, interesting and remarkably colorful landscape. Nicely composed, particularly considering you were in a train when it was taken.

La Mancha has amazing landscapes and it's really hard to photograph as most of them are inaccessible by car :D Thank you Jon :D
